I’m Elena Pignatelli, a graphic and interactive designer, passionate about finding elegant solutions to complex problems. My interests in design go far beyond aesthetics, I strive to create experiences that can help accomplish business goals, foster support around causes, or help individuals complete everyday tasks. I think design can make the world better and I hope to be a part of that effort. As a graduate of Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communications Design and a Minor in Art History, I possess a strong foundation of design theory and art/design historical context. This in-depth knowledge gives me the ability to draw from experiences that are far beyond my years. As a communications designer, my goal is always to solve a given problem, and possibly anticipate unforeseen ones. Whether that requires taking the role of a user experience designer, user interface designer, graphic designer, or the many other hats that designers can wear, in the end it’s all about gathering the information needed to solve that problem meaningfully and successfully. Please get in touch if you’d like to learn more about me and my experiences, I’d love to hear from you.
